- What percentage of my sales do I make? 
Consignors retain 60% of their total sales. If they choose to crew/help at the sale, they can increase their commission an extra 5% for each shift, up to a maximum of 75%. Your earnings will be sent to you via digital check within 2 weeks after the sale concludes.
 
- Will it be worth my time?
Your earnings depend on the quantity and type of items you bring. Bringing higher-end, larger items can increase your potential profits. Pricing items lower can lead to selling more, while higher prices might result in fewer sales. Consignors earn between 60% and 75% of their total sales
 
- What is the max amount and minimum number of items that I can sell under one consignment number?
The maximum number is 350 and the minimum number is 30 (unless you have a larger item(s) that value at least $100.
 
- What can I sell?
We accept new and gently used indoor and outdoor children’s toys, clothes, baby equipment, books, children’s décor, or children related items. Items that do not fit these requirements may be rejected at drop offs.
 
- How do I prep my items?
Visit the Item Prep page on our website: https://www.upupandawaykidsconsignment.com/item-prep.html Sort items you want to sell. Check for stains and quality. Clean items & wash clothing. Hang clothing on hangers and attach the printed barcode tags using a tagging gun or safety pin. For toys and larger items, secure the barcode tag with blue painters’ tape or packing tape, but avoid covering the barcode with tape.
 
- How do I price my items?
We recommend pricing your clothing items for 25-75% of their original price depending on condition and brand. Baby gear, toys and current in demand items may sell for 50% or more of their original price. When adding items to inventory, sellers also have the option to mark items “reduce” which allows your items to sell on our final day for 50% off. - Is there a fee for participating?
Yes, this is an $18 registration fee per sale. This helps expenses associated with putting on the sale. The fee is non-refundable, nor transferable. However, if you consign, you shop a day before we open to the public, with your elite Consignor Pass you will receive when you drop your items off!
 
-When and how do I get paid?
Your earnings will be sent to you via digital check within 2 weeks after the sale concludes.
 
-Do you need a ticket to shop?
No! Tickets are not needed on our public sale days!

Sundays 10am-3pm (Discount Day - Shop many items 50% off)
 
- When can I register to sell?
Registration is opened for consignors (sellers) typically 8 weeks before a sale.
 
- Where can I find hangers?
We are not hanger picky! We accept any kind of hangers on clothing. Ask friends/ family for extra hangers or purchase inexpensive hangers at Walmart, Target, dollar stores or even ask dry cleaners for wire hangers.
PRO TIP: Save the hangers from items bought at our previous sale(s) & use them on items you want to sell.
 
- Where can I find cardstock?
Cardstock is available at Target, Walmart, Amazon and office supply stores. Avoid purchasing extra-thick cardstock, as it may be too thick for your printer.
 
- Are children allowed at the sale?
Yes, UUA loves kids! Please keep in mind that we sell items that belong to other families. We ask that you keep your children with you and please do not let them open packages or play with any toys.
 
- Can I promote my business, sponsor or advertise with UUA?

- Where are my unsold items donated after the sale if I choose to donate?
We select organizations that support our local communities and share our values. We continuously seek charities that could benefit from the generosity of our consignors. If you know of an organization that would benefit from donations of children's items, please reach out to us. After the event, consignors can print a detailed list of donated items for tax purposes.
